SEC Together We CAN Drive

Volunteers are needed for the biggest community service event of the year - SEC Together We CAN Drive. Collection dates/times/sites are listed below. Grab a teammate and collect cans for a great cause!

Saturday, Sept. 18th - football vs. Arkansas - 10:30 a.m. - noon

Friday, Sept. 24th - soccer vs. LSU - 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 25th - equestrian vs. Kansas State - 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.

Sunday, Sept. 26th - volleyball vs. Kentucky - noon - 1:00 p.m.

Faculty Athletics Representative

Professor David Shipley, the new Faculty Athletics Representative, will have regular office hours in the Rankin Smith Academic Center. You may visit him in his office on the second floor on Wednesday mornings or he can be reached via e-mail at shipley@uga.edu.

SAAC Retreat/New Officers

The SAAC retreat was held on Sunday, August 15th. During the retreat, SAAC members became more familiar with each other while brainstorming new ideas for the upcoming year. Additionally, the SAAC elected new officers. Congratulations to our new Co-Presidents Taylor Adams and Kathleen Gates and our new Vice President Georgina Nembhard.
