Campus Volunteer Opportunity

The Athletic Association has partnered with the University Health Center’s John Fontaine, Jr. Center for Alcohol Awareness and Education to impact campus norms in regard to high-risk drinking. We will ask for student-athlete involvement at events several times this academic year.

The first event will be held at Tate Plaza on Wednesday, October 28th from 11:00 - 3:00 p.m. (you are not required to stay the entire time). You will be interacting with other students to provide low-risk messages about alcohol and to debunk misperceptions about campus norms in regard to drinking. Talking points (& activities) will be provided.

Please contact Lesley Black or Robert Miles if you are interested in participating.
